School Dressing Days is an annual event that is held each July, which provides new school clothes and supplies to financially disadvantaged families in the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford.  Each year, approximately 1,000 children receive free clothing and supplies in preparation for the opening of schools, through the financial contributions of ICC and its member religious communities and private donations.  ICC’s School Dressing Days Committee meets monthly throughout the year, planning and purchasing clothes and supplies.  Volunteers are greatly needed for this event.  Financial donations are also greatly appreciated.

We provide each school-aged child with a new pair of jeans, new shirt, new socks, new underwear, backpack, school supplies, and toiletries.  They can also choose a gently-used coat, jacket, or hoodie.

A Registration Form is required to be filled out to select an appointment time to "shop" for the items.
